Dr Fran Martin

Fran Martin Dr Fran Martin is a senior lecturer in Education at the University of Exeter. She has been a tutor in initial teacher education in the primary phase since 1993 and was the principal investigator for the ESRC research project Global Partnerships for Mutual Learning (2009-2012). An editor of the journal Primary Geography and elected President of the Geographical Association (2011-12), she leads the Re-Place research group at the University of Exeter

Dr Stephen Scoffham

Stephen ScoffhamDr Stephen Scoffham is a principal lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Canterbury Christ Church University.  A long-time member and trustee of a local Development Education Centre, he has served as Honorary Publications Officer for the Geographical Association (GA) since 2005 and is an elected member of the GA governing council.  An established author/consultant for school atlases and educational texts, his research interests include geography teaching, creativity, the environment and the global dimension. Stephen is currently promoting sustainability and futures perspectives at Canterbury Christ Church University in his role as Director of the university’s Futures Initiative.
